There's a wealth of outdoor activities to enjoy in stunning scenery in the Trossachs from endless cycling & hiking around the beautiful Queen Elizabeth Forest Park, rigorous hillwalking amongst the numerous Corbetts and Munroes, sailing and kayaking in nearby Loch Earn and Loch Lubnaig and angling in the many local rivers and lochs. Tuition in all activities is available so it is a great place the the whole family to get involved! Photographers and wildlife enthusiasts will thoroughly enjoy the ease of access to the breathtaking sights and huge variety of flora and fauna all year round.

Callander has much to offer visitors from an array of excellent places to eat to lovely antique and art and craft shops. Stirling and Edinburgh are within easy reach and due to it's central location, Heatherlyn also offers an excellent base for those wanting to travel much further afield to Fort William, Oban and even Loch Ness!
